Boasting 110 mm of rear travel, the Spark is ideally suited to cross country, marathons, multi-day stage races, and all day fun. The DT Nude shock allows the rider three separate travel settings that can be accessed via a handlebar mounted TWINLOC lever. The rider can choose from 110 mm of travel, 80 mm of travel in the Traction mode, or full lock out front and rear."

The Scott Spark was the stand out bike of 2009 for us here at Mud Dock. Although the Spark is one of the most capable XC bikes on the market, it was the trail abilities of the Spark that surprised us. This bike is so versatile, whether it be ripping round Ashton Court, Mountain Mayhem or venturing over to Cwmcarn or Afan, the Spark devours everything in its path and does so at lightning speed. The Spark is capable of far more than its 110mm of travel would suggest.

How to hire this demo bike

To hire this demo bike, drop by the shop or call us on 0117 9292151. Costs for hire are shown below. Full terms and conditions are in the hire agreement, which you can download via the link below.

• £40 per day or £60 per for two days (weekend)

• Hire charge is refundable against subsequent purchase

• Cleaning/re-lubing charge of £20, which will be payable if:
   a) the bike is not returned in the condition it was hired; or
   b) you wish for us to clean and lube the bike rather than do it yourself

• Deposit £250

• To hire this bike, you must provide two forms of security:
   1. Photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport)
   2. Your credit card, other ID or car keys
