Women’s Workshops
GIRLS! JOIN US again soon for our next women's workshop. IT'S your CHANCE TO LEARN THE QUICK AND EASY WAYS TO FIX PUNCTURES, DISCOVER HOW TO ENSURE YOUR BRAKES ARE SAFE AND FIND OUT HOW TO STOP GEARS FROM MAKING THAT FUNNY NOISE!
Mud Dock's ever-popular Women's Worshops are a fun and friendly way to learn tyre-lever etiquette, and discover how to avoid common bike-fixing faux pas.
An attendee at a recent event, Katriel Costello, has kindly shared her view of the evening in an article on our blog. Katriel says, "Every kind of cyclist was there, from commuters to road tourers to town cyclists, each with a different range of knowledge about their bike's mechanics.
"Mud Dock workshops were pitched perfectly down the middle, allowing for all levels: from those who have never changed an inner tube to those who adjust their rear derailleurs just for fun."
So, if cycle maintenance has always seemed like something of a dark art, but is a skill you would like to get to grips with the basics of, book your place at a Women's Workshop now!
Next workshop: Watch this space for details
Our recent Woment's Workshop on Friday 7 October was a great success, and we're already planning the next one. Watch this space for details – or sign up to our newsletter to be among the first to find out, and to receive news of other goings on at Mud Dock.
Or, if you're happy to learn bike maintenance in the presence of chaps as well as women, you might like to come along to one of our Open Workshops.
